Wedding Wednesday - alternative wedding cakes ♥

It's that time of year again...Great British Bake Off time! It's one of my favourite TV programmes and I wish I had the baking talent so I could enter! In honour of GBBO season, I decided to have a cakey, biscuity, desserty showstopper wedding themed post. I've already shared some of my favourite wedding cakes, so for this post I've decided to share some alternative wedding cake options if you didn't fancy one big traditional one!

Macarons! Rainbow, pastel, monochrome - stacked, lined up or made into cake form! Macarons are a little bit of luxury for all your guests.

As per last night's GBBO - petit fours! So cute and dinky, and perfectly formed! I especially love these easter themed ones.

Fancy pants croquembouche - apparently the traditional wedding cake in France! Definitely a showstopper.

Mr & Mrs biscuits to dunk into your afternoon tea wedding reception.

Why have one wedding cake when you could have a hundred mini wedding cakes! These are a nice twist on one big main cake.

Chocolate mendiants - chocolate, pistachio, raisins, almonds...nom nom nom.

Delicate french fancies!

Mini ice cream cone cupcakes for a whimsical seaside themed wedding day!

What is your favourite type of mini cake/dessert/treat?

    1. The ice creams are so unusual! Didn't realise you could use the cones in the oven as cake cases! Xx
