Sneak Peek Bedroom Tour ♥

I recently went home to visit my parents and I thought I'd take some snaps of my bedroom there for you to see. It's called 'my' bedroom but really it's another guest room. My parents converted the garage into an extra room for 'me' as whenever all the family visits at the same time, I always pulled the short straw and had to sleep on the most uncomfortable sofa bed ever, in the tiniest box room!

My parents decorated the room in a pretty 'Cath Kidston' style as they know I love all things pastel, floral and girly! Sorry for the poor quality pics - I only thought to take photos when it was already dark outside! Next time I'll take some in better lighting and of the whole room.

The room is painted a nice neutral cream colour, and this ivory wrought iron bedstead is mine from when I was at uni. Unfortunately it doesn't fit in my tiny London bedroom so it resides in my parents house instead! I love the blue & white french country scene patterned duvet. I went through a faze of being obsessed with this pattern and had cushions, bedcovers and blinds all in various versions of this fabric!

There's a lovely cream French style wooden mirror above the chest of drawers which I've draped a wedding accessory over! I got this Mr & Mrs wooden sign from The Range and I'm not sure how I'm going to use it at the wedding yet but I thought it looked really cute hung on the mirror for now!

The chest of drawers below the mirror currently holds lots of teacups that I'm collecting for the wedding, but it also is home to my Mum's gorgeous pale pink glass jar which holds cotton wool, and a pretty pink diamond paperweight!

The lampshade is a shiny ivory colour with butterfly and flower cut out shapes. It's so pretty and fits in the room perfectly!

I hope you enjoyed my sneak peek bedroom tour!

What style of decoration is your bedroom?

  1. What a lovely room! It looks so peaceful. I've always been the one who has to let visitors sleep in my bed too. Luckily now we have a spare bed, not that we hardly ever have anyone to stay anymore.

The walls in my room are off white with a hint of grey in the paint and I've added loads of colourful accesories.

Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog - I have responded but I never know if people know I have done!
