Wedding Wednesday - Autumn Wedding Ideas ♥
I snapped this pic at the weekend of a tree near where I live - the colours of the leaves were amazing and very autumnal. The autumn colours of orange, browns and golds are so striking together and would make a beautiful colour scheme for a wedding, so this Wednesday I've decided to do an autumn themed post!
Here's my autumn moodboard - I love the rich orange and brown colours that can be incorporated into an autumn wedding, especially for the bridesmaid dresses. The flowers are also gorgeous and a nice change from the pale pinks and white bouquets that are common these days. I love the idea of including little pumpkins carved with table numbers, and they could also be carved hollow and used as containers for flowers as a centrepiece. You can also really make use of the autumn leaves and trees for stunning and colourful backdrops for your wedding photos.
Here are some more autumnal wedding ideas!
♥ Incorporate leaf details on your wedding stationery
♥ Serve a rustic 3 tier rounds of cheese instead of cake
♥ Use frosted fruit as table decoration instead or as well as flowers
♥ Serve toffee apples dipped in edible gold leaf as wedding favours
♥ Go tea light candle crazy to create a whimsical and romantic atmosphere
♥ Use twine and hessian to decorate your tables and tie luggage label place names
♥ Serve hot cocoa in the evening to keep your guests warm
♥ Dot little acorns in your bouquet for a woodland touch
♥ Get some large hay bales for outdoor seating
♥ Hand out sparklers once night falls for magical sparkles!
Have you ever been to an autumn wedding?
