I'm back!

I've been gone a long while...sorry! I decided to stop blogging after Christmas last year due to a variety of reasons, mostly time, and also was lacking confidence to continue which is silly as I've really missed blogging since I've been gone! I think looking at a lot of my fave blogs daily really inspired me to get over my writers block and return to blogging land!

Since I last posted a lot a lot has happened. Mainly getting engaged! Which is pretty crazy!! I went to NY in Jan with the bf and a few days in he popped the question next to the Hudson river, and so have been on a bit of a high this year! Now looking into various wedding things so don't be surprised to see some wedding posts soon!

I got this beautiful ring made. It's a rose gold and diamond pave band with a brilliant cut diamond in the centre framed in white gold and more diamonds! I'm not a big jewellery person (in terms of bling!) so it was a bold choice but the fact I'm quite low key with plain studs most days means I don't look too Pat Butcher!

I've been going a bit mad looking into wedding stuff as initially I had so many ideas! Pinterest boards have been really useful for me to realise what I really like and what's practical (affordable)! This wedding business is so god damn pricey! Yikes.

One thing I have definitely decided on however, is this cake topper :-)

It's perfect! Me and the fiance (ha!) and Pig :) A lovely lady on Etsy makes these and I'm going to ask her to customise one for us, to have the blonde barnet and the right coloured suit etc!
